Diseases
Aortic valve stenosis
Narrowing (stenosis) of the heart valve between the left ventricle of the heart and the aorta. This narrowing impedes the delivery of blood through the aorta to the body and makes it tough for the heart to carry out this Herculean task. A normal aortic valve has three leaflets or cusps, but a stenotic valve may have only one cusp (unicuspid) or two cusps (bicuspid), which are thick, stiff, and stenotic.
Atherosclerosis
Atherosclerosis is a chronic disease whereby certain risk factors increase the propensity for cholesterol accumulation and/or scar tissue formation within the walls of the artery. Atherosclerosis may involve virtually any blood vessels in the body including coronary arteries carotid arteries, cerebral arteries, aorta, mesenteric (GI tract) arteries, kidney arteries, and those involving the lower extremities.

As a results, the atrium or atria quiver like a bag of worms rather than function as they should moving blood flow in a coordinated fashion by contracting….
Healthy Living
Low Carbohydrate Diet
I recommend the dietary guidelines proposed by the physician authors of the book entitled “Sugar Busters” to provide a low-calorie, low-carbohydrate, low-fat diet program for the purpose of losing excess body weight in a safe manner with lasting results; this is not a fad diet. The tenets are well-researched and medically proven to work. In essence, you must limit your ingestion of pasta, bread (including whole grain), rice (including brown rice), potatoes, alcohol, and candy.
Low Cholesterol Diet
I recommend that you adhere to a low-cholesterol diet. Guidelines to follow are to refrain from having butter, margarine, eggs, beef, fried food, oils (with the exception of olive oil), and remove the skin from turkey, chicken, and fish. You may use egg whites liberally and substitute apple sauce for oils in cooking deserts. When you read labels, try to use foods with 0-3 grams of fat per serving as a rule.
Low-sodium Diet
Refrain from adding salt (table, onion, garlic salt, monosodium glutamate/MSG, baking soda, soy sauce) to your cooking or at the table.
Avoid soup unless you either make it without bouillon or you buy a brand with less than 250 mg per serving.
When eating out, as how the food is prepared, and request that your order be made without salt, MSG, creams, sauces, V-8…
